USC is in the top 12 with 2023 QB Dylan Lonergan (6-2 197) of Snellville, GA. The others in his top dozen are Georgia, Ole Miss, Oregon, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Penn State, Ohio State, Auburn, LSU and Mississippi State. Lonergan visited USC in June. He also visited Georgia, Clemson, Alabama, Georgia Tech and Ohio State. And last weekend he attended the cookout at North Carolina, but the Tar Heels just got a 2023 quarterback commitment from in-stater Tad Hudson, thus the Tar Heels were not included on Lonergan’s short list. Lonergan is rated a four-star in the 247Sports Composite and is ranked the #6 quarterback nationally in the ’23 class. Last season Lonergan passed for 2249 yards, 20 touchdowns and 6 interceptions.
