USC target CB Chris Graves (6-2 180) of Fort Myers, FL plans to announce Friday with USC, Miami, Florida and LSU the four finalists. He took official visits to USC, Miami and LSU and an unofficial visit to Florida. Last season Graves had 26 tackles, broke up 4 passes and had 1 interception. He also caught 27 passes for 500 yards and 4 touchdowns. He’s also a track standout. Graves is rated a four-star in the 247Sports Composite and ranked the #15 athlete nationally.
Graves will be one of three USC targets announcing on Friday. The others are CB Nikai Martinez (5-11 170) of Apopka, FL and RB Ramon Brown of Midlothian, VA. Martinez has USC, Florida and UCF as his final three. Brown has a final five of USC, Virginia Tech, Penn State, West Virginia and Maryland.
USC target DE Tomiwa Durojaiye of Middletown, DE has set August 7th for his commitment announcement. USC, West Virginia, Kentucky, Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech are his top 5.
Sumter DE Davin Jackson named a top six of USC, Coastal Carolina, Appalachian State, Charlotte, Syracuse and NC State. He camped at USC and plans to return for the cookout July 31st.
USC target WR Jayden Gibson was offered by Georgia.
Clemson target CB Caleb Coley of Warner Robins, GA committed to Vanderbilt. Clemson was one of his offers, and he took an unofficial visit in early June. His three official visits in the month were Vanderbilt, Wisconsin and Michigan State.
Clemson target LB DeMario Tolan (6-3 205) of Orlando is set to announce Thursday. He also has Florida State, LSU, Miami and Tennessee on his short list. He took an unofficial visit to Clemson in June. He made officials to Tennessee, LSU and Miami.
Greenville High TE Josh Sapp (6-3 235) was offered by Middle Tennessee State Tuesday. He’s the son of former Clemson quarterback and NFL linebacker Patrick Sapp. He has drawn interest from Clemson and USC and camped there in June. His other offers include Coastal Carolina, Georgia State, Appalachian State, Charlotte, East Carolina, Elon, Tulane and Florida A&M.
TE Grant Stevens (6-4 220) of Jacksonville committed to Coastal Carolina.
ATH Matthew McDoom (5-8 184) of Winter Garden, FL committed to Coastal Carolina.
6-3 Quante Berry of Cleveland, TN, and attending school in Winston-Salem, NC, committed to Providence. USC was in his final five.
