#STRecruiting Notebook July 1st

Another USC target is set to announce his college commitment Thursday. SAF Nick Emmanwori (6-4 195) of Irmo was not on the major college radar until showing out at a USC camp in early June. Shane Beamer offered Emmanwori that day and just might be adding him to his growing class. USC remains his only Power 5 offer. Charlotte, Georgia Southern and Richmond are his other offers. Emmanwori also took an unofficial visit to USC in June, and he visited Charlotte last Sunday with some teammates.

USC target DT Nick James of IMG Academy has set 2:30 PM Eastern for his announcement Saturday. He’s down to USC, Florida, Texas A&M and Ohio State.

USC target SAF Antonio Kite (6-1 180) of Anniston, AL plans to announce his college commitment Sunday. He took an official visit to USC last month. After that visit he named USC, Alabama and Tennessee as his top three. He took an official visit to Tennessee last weekend. He also visited UCF in late June.

CB Nikai Martinez of Apopka, FL, who took an official visit to USC last weekend, plans to announce his college choice July 9th. He had USC, Florida and UCF as his top three coming off the visit.

USC is in the top five with DT D’Andre Martin (6-4 293) of Durham. He attends school in South Chesterfield, VA. He also has Florida State, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Duke on his short list.

Emerald DE Robby Harrison was offered by Michigan.

ATH KZ Adams of Gray Collegiate committed to Georgia State.

6-0 Jazian Gortman of Keenan took an official visit to Wake Forest earlier this week.

2023 6-8 Brandon Gardner of Gray Collegiate took an unofficial visit to North Carolina Tuesday.

Clemson offered 6-5 Justyn Fernandez of Lynchburg, VA. 247Sports rates him a 3-star and ranks him #88 nationally and #10 in Virginia. He just took an official visit to Oregon State and was offered. He also has taken an official visit to George Mason and has an offer from there. He also has offers from George Washington, Seton Hall, Boston College, Rhode Island, Robert Morris, VCU, Virginia Tech, Norfolk State and Radford.
