USC baseball coach Mark Kingston joined us Thursday night on SportsTalk to reflect on the 2021 season. He, his staff and players navigated Covid and the nation’s most difficult schedule (4 regular season opponents are in Omaha, plus regional foe Virginia) to make an NCAA Regional, which they hosted. But, falling short of a trip to Omaha always is a disappointment for a USC baseball team, so Kingston knows there’s still work to be done to accomplish that ultimate goal.
