Shane Beamer Tuesday brought three more of his new hires before the media with a Zoom session. New secondary coach Torrian Gray, new defensive line coach Jimmy Lindsey and new strength and conditioning coach Luke Day took turns taking questions from the media after Beamer held a question and answer session.
Beamer said he’s close on hiring a new offensive line coach, and he won’t rush to hire a new Director of Player Personnel. He also discussed the five new players who arrived this month thru the NCAA Transfer Portal and said he’s had no further conversations with former quarterback Ryan Hilinski who is in the Portal.
Beamer also said his plan is to start spring practice on March 20th and hold the spring game in Williams-Brice Stadium on April 24th.
