#Gamecocks to have a key weapon back on offense for 2021

There have been many departures from the USC football program since the firing of Will Muschamp. Monday night senior tight end Nick Muse reversed that trend, if only for a night, when he announced that he will return for another season with the Gamecocks. Along with running back Kevin Harris, Muse will be the leading returning offense weapon for whichever quarterback wins the job in 2021.

This season Muse was second on the team to Shi Smith in receptions with 30 for 425 yards and 1 touchdown. In his first season with the Gamecocks in 2019, Muse caught 17 passes for 158 yards.

Muse began his career in 2017 at William & Mary and caught 34 passes there in two seasons before transferring to USC.
