The Chanticleers trailed Liberty all night in the Cure Bowl in Orlando but managed to force overtime after a late touchdown and a bizarre Liberty turnover at the Chant’s goal line in the final seconds. The Coastal defense forced a field goal on Liberty’s overtime possession, but their own offense was forced to attempt a game-tying field goal, and it was blocked. Game over. Unbeaten run over. Final score, Liberty 37-Coastal 34.
