College football media have their eyes on the USC program this week, and it’s not because the Gamecocks are playing great football. They are not. Their last two losses, by a combined 100-27 to LSU and Texas A&M, have left them at 2-4 and staring at a third losing season in Will Muschamp’s five seasons. Many Gamecock fans are expressing their unhappiness on radio and thru social media, and the national pundits, who look for the blood in the water, are watching. That just adds to the pressure on the Gamecocks to win this Saturday night at Ole Miss. Those who spoke with the media earlier this week expressed their support for Muschamp while saying they have blocked all of that out and focused on the task at hand.
