The countdown to the start of the new college basketball season has reached the two-week point. November 25th Division One teams can tip it off for real. USC Wednesday released the non-SEC portion of its schedule. The Gamecocks will play an exhibition game on the 25th against a team that will be announced soon. They will open their regular season in Kansas City against Northwestern the following weekend. With a veteran group returning from an 18 win team, Frank Martin said Wednesday practices have been fast-paced and intense. And he’s happy with where his team is at this point.
