USC coach Will Muschamp and his staff spent their Sunday reviewing the film of Saturday night’s 52-24 loss at LSU. There were high hopes for the Gamecocks going into the game, and not just from the local fans. Vegas only saw a six point difference between the teams at the start of last week, and the line dropped to four by Saturday. So, the feeling was the Gamecocks could play with an LSU team starting a true freshman quarterback and reeling from a 1-2 start. But that proved not to be the case over 60 minutes at Tiger Stadium. TJ Finley was cool, calm and collected beyond his years, the Tigers ran the ball at will, and a pick six and kicking game errors further doomed the Gamecocks. USC is now 2-3 and off this week. Texas A&M will be next up in Columbia a week from Saturday.
