Emmanuel Henderson

USC and Clemson are among the ten schools to make the short list with 2022 RB Emmanuel Henderson (6-1 185) of Hartford, AL. Henderson narrowed his list from nearly 30 offers. USC was the first program to offer him, and that game on a visit for last season’s Florida game. Henderson is ranked as the #1 running back prospect in the 2022 class in the 247Sports Composite. Last season he rushed for 1996 yards and 32 touchdowns, and he caught 23 passes for 342 yards and 4 touchdowns. Thus far this season, Henderson has rushed for 840 yards and 12 scores. The other schools on his short list are Auburn, Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi State, Southern Cal and Florida.

Clemson target CB Kamari Lassiter of Tuscaloosa will announce his commitment tonight. Georgia and Auburn have also been strongly involved.

Clemson commitments RB Will Shipley and center Ryan Linthicum announced they will not play their senior season in the spring and will enroll at Clemson in January.

USC offered 2022 DT Felix Hixon (6-4 285) of Jackson, GA. He also has Power Five offers from Virginia Tech, Vanderbilt and Wisconsin.

2022 WR Adam Randall of Myrtle Beach was offered by Maryland.

Clemson target 2022 LB Jalon Walker of Salisbury, NC was offered by Arkansas.

Clemson 2022 WR target Caleb Burton was offered by Mississippi State.

2022 Four-star TE Donovan Green (6-4 220) of Dickinson, TX, who holds an offer from USC, plans to announce his top six on October 28th.

2022 RB Trevor Etienne, brother of the Clemson star and with an offer from the Tigers, was offered by Mississippi State.

Eastside QB Marshall Skoloff committed to Stetson.

Clemson offered 2022 6-4 Robert Cowherd of Alpharetta, GA. Some of his other offers are Georgia, Baylor, USF, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Xavier.

2022 PF 6-9 Noah Clowney of Dorman was offered by Virginia Tech.

2023 RHP Parker Marlatt of Dacula, GA committed to USC. Here’s a recent scouting report on him from Perfect Game: “Medium and well-proportioned frame with strength in his lower half. Ran a 7.72 second 60 yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, online delivery that he repeats well, some deception with the use of his front side, quick arm action up to a 3/4 arm slot. Fastball topped out at 86 mph with frequent life and outstanding run at times, two-plane breaking ball with slurve-type action to it, throws with intent and pitches to contact in attack mode.”
