The USC men’s basketball team is into its second week of practice, and Frank Martin should have one of his best teams during his tenure with the Gamecocks. They return four of their top six scorers from last season, so it’s a deep, talented and veteran group which Martin hopes to take to the NCAA Tournament for a second time. USC was 18-13 overall, 10-8 in the SEC, going into the SEC Tournament in March before everything was called off due to Covid-19. Earlier this week several of the USC players met with the media for Zoom press conferences.
