#Gamecocks put the anchor down on Vanderbilt 41-7 (VIDEO)

USC took out the frustrations of back to back losses to open the season on a depleted Vanderbilt team in rainy Nashville Saturday afternoon 41-7. The Gamecocks outscored the Commodores 31-7 in the second half and Will Muschamp was able to go deep into his bench. Kevin Harris rushed for a career high 171 yards and 2 touchdowns, including an 88 yarder in the 4th quarter, that put the game on ice. Collin Hill also scored twice on short runs and completed 16-24 passes for 196 yards. Vanderbilt played with just 56 scholarship players due to Covid-19 issues and other injuries and was without its leading rusher and two of its top tacklers. With the win, the Gamecocks snap a five game losing streak and extend their winning streak over Vandy to 12.
