When a team in the SEC goes searching for a needed victory, there’s not better place to look than Nashville. Vanderbilt has helped many a fanbase get over the ills of their ofwn program, if just for a week, for years. That’s what Gamecock fans are counting on this Saturday. The Gamecocks haven’t won a game since, well, last season’s game against Vanderbilt. Since then there have been losses to Appalachian State, Texas A&M, Clemson, Tennessee and Florida. The Gamecocks are 13 point favorites to end the slide Saturday afternoon and, at least for a week, give them fans something to feel good about.
Earlier this week several Gamecock players met with the media via Zoom to discuss the season and the Commodores.
