Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney addressed the media via Zoom, Thursday, following Tigers practice. Swinney shared some bad news, however, as he confirmed tight end Luke Price will miss the season with an ACL tear. Price was expected to provide depth behind Braden Galloway.
Swinney also took questions on the potential returns of the Big Ten and Pac 12 to college football this calendar year. Like most college football fans, Swinney would “love for them to play,” but isn’t in favor of delaying the College Football Playoff to accommodate contenders from the Big Ten or Pac 12, “We’re ready to roll …. it’d be hard to start in November and then push into February.”
Swinney also addressed where his team is mentally, results from COVID testing, and the overall strength of the ACC heading into the season.
