Jalen Brooks is now at USC

WR Jalen Brooks (6-3 200) of Harrisburg, NC, who started his career at Wingate, made a brief stop at Tarleton State in Texas, and then transferred to USC, arrived on campus Thursday morning and moved into his apartment at 650 Lincoln on the USC campus. Brooks’ transfer has been accepted by the university. He now awaits the result of his Covid-19 test before he can begin working out with the team. He also is waiting on an immediate eligibility waiver request to be ruled on by the NCAA.

“It’s exciting. I’m ready to work,” Brooks said Thursday morning. “That’s all I can say about it. I’m just excited.”

Last season Brooks caught 35 passes for 751 yards and 6 touchdowns, and he was named to the first team of the All-SAC Team. He had 15 catches for 247 yards and 3 touchdowns as a freshman in 2018.
