Clemson safety Nolan Turner addressed the media, Thursday, via Zoom. Turner touched on a number of topics including his thoughts on a potential advisory committee comprised of student-athletes, in-season social media use, physicality in the defensive backfield, and the potential flashed by incoming talent at the skill positions including quarterback DJ Uiagalelei.
Lannden Zanders, also a safety, spoke about his growth as a player, how losing Isaiah Simmons is affecting the defense and like Turner, was very complimentary of the receiver group. Zanders said Ajou Ajou and E.J. Williams are “as advertised,” noting Ajou’s length and ability to take the top off a defense.
