Clemson is in the final five with five-star OT Tristan Leigh (6-5 275) of Fairfax, VA. The Tigers are joined in the to five by some familiar rivals….LSU, Alabama, Oklahoma and Ohio State. Leigh visited Clemson for the Florida State game last season, and he returned for a junior day in January. He hopes to take his official visits once they are allowed again. Some of his other offers were USC, Tennessee, Florida State, Georgia, Notre Dame, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Michigan, Southern Cal and Auburn.

RHP Hunter Parks (6-4 175) of Florence-Darlington Tech committed to USC. He’s a native of York. This past spring he made 6 appearances and was 2-0 with a 0.43 ERA. He struck out 27 batters in 21 innings. This spring he reportedly hit between 93 and 95 MPH on his fastball.

USC is in the top five with DE DeMarcus Smith (6-4 262) of Birmingham. The others on the short list are Kansas, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Tennessee. USC defensive line coach Tracy Rocker recruited Smith when he was at Tennessee and kept the relationship going once he moved to USC.

USC offered 2023 CB Tony Mitchell (6-1 180) of Alabaster, AL. He also has reported offers from Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Florida State and others.

USC target OT Kamron Scott of Converse, TX was offered by Colorado.

Sumter DE Miles Capers was offered by Illinois.

2022 Greer WR Jaleel Skinner added offers from LSU and Oregon.

2022 Greenville OL Collin Sadler was offered by Alabama.
