Jerome Singleton, executive director for the South Carolina High School League, joined SportsTalk, Wednesday, to share details on the fall sports calendar proposal approved today by the SCHSL’s executive committee. The proposal, which calls for seven regular season games, sets Week 1 for September 11th. Under this proposal, the playoffs would begin October 30th and conclude November 20th. Singleton also addresses the flexibility this plan would allow for and what items will discussed at the next meeting of the SCHSL executive committee in August.
