A pair of long-time USC targets released top ten lists Tuesday and the Gamecocks are included in each. RB Jaylin White of Dothan, AL named a top ten of USC, Florida, Florida State, Louisville, Texas A&M, Penn State, Nebraska, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Memphis. White has visited USC in the past. Last season he rushed for 900 yards and 16 touchdowns. He’s ranked the #12 running back prospect nationally in the 247Sports Compositie.
DE Kelvin Gilliam of Highland Springs, VA has a top 10 of USC, Penn State, Minnesota, Texas, Florida, Virginia Tech, LSU, Cal, Oklahoma and Kentucky. Gilliam is one of the highest rated players left on the USC board. He’s rated a 4-star in the 247Sports Composite, the #7 weakside defensive end nationally and #4 prospect in Virginia. USC, Penn State and Oklahoma have been strong with him throughout.
5-star CB Tony Grimes of Virginia Beach, who had early offers from USC and Clemson, committed to North Carolina.
USC picked up a commitment from 2021 LHP/1B Matthew Becker (6-3 180) of Chapin.
Long-time USC target SAF Myzel Williams of Deltona, FL Monday committed to Mississippi State. What was the deciding factor for Williams? “The relationship with the coaching staff, life after football and level of competition.” USC offered Williams in December. He made an unofficial visit in January and sat down with Will Muschamp in his office. After that visit, he named the Gamecocks his favorite.

USC target LB Jordan Poole of Oakboro, NC is pushing back his commitment date. He had set it for July 1st. He’s down to USC, Virginia Tech and NC State.
USC target TE Bryson Nesbit of Charlotte was offered by Virginia Tech.
Clemson offered 2021 PF Trey Kaufman from Sellersburg, IN. The 6-8 210 forward also has offers from Indiana, Virginia and Xavier among others.
Clemson target 6-9 PF Kuluel Mading of Burlington, NC was offered by ECU.
Clemson target 6-4 Jordan Hawkins of Dematha Catholic in Hyattsville, MD was offered by Maryland and Georgia.
