Cardinal-Newman guard Joshua Beadle joined SportsTalk, Monday, to discuss his recent commitment to Clemson.
Beadle shared his experiences with Brad Brownell through the recruiting process and how important that relationship was in his decision to commit to the Tigers.
Beadle chose Clemson over Wake Forest, Furman, College of Charleston and VCU.
Beadle plays both backcourt positions for Cardinal Newman, where he averaged 16 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists per game last season, but he says Brownell expects him to play the point for Clemson.
“They want me to play the point guard position,” Beadle said. “They say I have a high IQ and I have a good feel for the game, and that’s what they want and that’s what they need.”
The 6-3 guard also answered questions on the advantages of playing left handed, what skills he’s been developing during the offseason and his impressions of Littlejohn Coliseum.
