O’Mega Blake

One of the state’s top prospects, WR O’Mega Blake of South Pointe, named a top three Saturday of USC, Virginia Tech and Louisville. He also said he has made his decision and notified the school. He will reveal his choice Monday at 4:00 PM. Blake said settled on those three programs because of “The coaching staffs, the way they’ve been there from the start, keeping everything real with me.” And as for why he chose the school he did from those three, Blake said, “It just felt like home. That meant a lot to me. They treat me like I was home.” Blake also has offers from Syracuse, Virginia, Penn State, Michigan State, NC State, Tennessee, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, East Carolina, Texas Tech, Kansas State, Pitt and UNLV, Last season Blake caught 50 passes for 1019 yards and 14 touchdowns.

6-3 guard Joshua Beadle of Cardinal Newman said Saturday he has not been able to make a decision, so he will not announce a commitment Sunday afternoon as he had planned. Beadle has his decision down to Clemson, Wake Forest, College of Charleston, Furman and VCU.

USC targets DE Travali Price and FB/LS Jayden Tate of Lincolnton, NC committed to NC State.

LB Jordan Poole of Oakboro, NC said he’s now looking at no later than July 1st for making his decision from USC, NC State and Virginia Tech. He originally had set Friday for his announcement.

USC target RB Ke’Travion Hargrove of Ruston, LA was offered by Penn State. He has been committed to Louisiana Tech.

Clemson offered three-star 6-6 Jordan Nesbitt of St. Louis. Nebraska, Alabama, Iowa, Iowa State and Illinois are some other offers.

Coastal Carolina landed LSU transfer 6-9 Deshawn Thomas. He averaged 7 points and 4 rebounds per game last season.

PG Tyler Rice of Ridge View sets his commitment date for Wednesday. Some of his offers are Bucknell, Elon, Upstate, Penn State, Western Carolina, Dartmouth and Leigh.

2022 RHP Adrian Roman of Norcross, GA committed to USC.
