USC target LB Navonteque Strong (6-1 230) of Mississippi Gulf Coast JC announced a commitment to Mississippi State Monday afternoon. USC was his first SEC offer. Mississippi State later followed. Some of his other offers are Colorado, Troy, UAB, Arkansas State, South Alabama, Toledo, Washington State, Memphis, FAU, Louisiana, East Carolina and ULM. Strong has impressive last season with 104 tackles. 17.5 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks. Strong is a native of Forest, MS and is rated a three-star by 247 Sports and the #1 inside linebacker prospect in the junior college ranks.
USC target WR Raheim Sanders of Rockledge, FL committed to Arkansas. He had his decision down to USC, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri and Florida State. The Gamecocks made a strong effort in recruiting Sanders who can play receiver, running back or linebacker. The Gamecocks liked him for receiver. Last season he had 15 catches for 368 yards and 2 touchdowns.
ATH O’Mega Blake of South Pointe was offered by USC. He has had a top 15 of Syracuse, Virginia, Penn State, Michigan State, Tennessee, NC State, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, East Carolina, Texas Tech, Kansas State, Pitt, UNLV and Virginia Tech.
USC target RB Ke’Travion Hargrove of Ruston, LA was offered by Florida State.
DB Caden Sullivan of Boiling Springs was offered by Kansas.
USC target DE Jahvaree Ritzie of Kernersville, NC has set his commitment announcement for Firday at 6:30 PM. He’s had a top five of USC, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Ohio State. The Gamecocks have made a strong pitch for Ritzie dating back to last spring. But his teammate, LB Raneira Dillworth, also a Gamecock target this year, committed to North Carolina in April.
USC target CB Khyree Jackson of East Mississippi JC plans to announce his college decision July 11th. He is down to the Gamecocks, Oregon, Florida, Oklahoma, Alabama and Kentucky.
USC made the top ten with TE Michael Trigg of Lake Wales, FL. The others on his short list are Michigan State, Southern Cal, Auburn, North Carolina, LSU, Kentucky, Penn State, Ohio State and Illinois. Last season Trigg had 82 catches for 1232 yards and 16 touchdowns.
CB Omarion Cooper of Lehigh Acres, FL, who had USC in his final six, committed to Florida State.
USC and Clemson target CB Ryan Barnes of Gaithersburg, MD committed to Notre Dame.

Myrtle Beach WR Darius Hough committed to Gardner-Webb for the 2020 class.
Dillon WR Ahmari Huggins has set July 2nd for his commitment date. He has named a top 12 of Southern Cal, Baylor, NC State, Arkansas, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Louisville, Pitt, Georgia Tech, TCU, Michigan State and Duke.
