Rod Wilson has had one heck of a journey thru the football world. An all-around athlete from the small, Lowcountry community of Cross, Wilson landed a scholarship from Lou Holtz at USC and made himself into a seventh round NFL Draft pick in 2005 by the Bears. He spent six years in the NFL before entering the coaching ranks, and won a Super Bowl ring last season with the Chiefs. Monday morning Wilson met with media in the state via a Zoom conference call and discusses his years in football and his new job with the Gamecocks.
