
Davis Sharpe hit two homers and drove in a career high 5 runs, and four Tiger pitchers combined on a 6 hit shutout, in a 12-0 win at Doug Kingsmore Stadium Tuesday night. Sharpe hit a 3 run homer in the 1st and a 2 run homer in the 5th, both to left field. Dylan Brewer had a bases-clearing double in the 7th, and Adam Hackenburg had a two-RBI night. Jackson Lindley started for the Tigers and and allowed 3 hits over 5 innings. 41 of his 53 pitches were strikes and his ERA dropped to 1.17. Nick Hoffman, Holt Jones and Connor O’Rear finished up. The Tiger hurlers struck out 10 and did not issue a walk. Clemson is 13-3 and will host Winthrop on Wednesday.
