USC defeated Cornell 10-3 Saturday afternoon at Founders Park and the Gamecocks put together one of their most complete games of the season. Four pitchers limited the Big Red to 3 hits. The offense delivered 9 hits and Wes Clarke clubbed his 8th homer of the season, second in two days, and drove in 3 runs. And the defense was flawless. Thomas Farr started and allowed 1 hit over 6 innings to earn his third win against no losses. The Gamecocks improve to 10-4 and will go for the series sweep Sunday afternoon.
