
USC made the top five with 4-star LB Raneiria Dillworth (6-2 190) of Kernersville, NC. He also has NC State, Georgia, North Carolina and Alabama on his short list. The Gamecocks offered Dillworth in October and at that time he expressed a lot of excitement about the opportunity with the Gamecocks. “It’s really a blessing, have to keep God first. It’s a great program and I could see me as a good fit. They like my speed and that I can play sideline to sideline. I have some fast 100 (meter) times for a linebacker.” He had over 100 tackles and over 20 tackles for last season. In one game he 25 tackles, 8 tackles for loss and 3 sacks.
USC offered 3-star DE Mattheus Carroll (6-5 220) of Baltimore. Boston College, Cincinnati Duke, Louisville, Pitt, Virginia, Vanderbilt and Syracuse are among his other offers.
Wren QB Joe Owens and Greenville OL Baron Franks took official visits to Alabama State over the weekend. Owens was one of the nation’s leading passers this past season with 4488 yards and 62 touchdowns. He also rushed for 348 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Three-star South Aiken TE Jesse Sanders (6-4 200) is headed to USC headed as PWO. Sanders played some quarterback in high school before moving full time to tight end. Tennessee also offered him a PWO opportunity, and he had been in conversation with Clemson as well. He had offers from Coastal Carolina, Georgia State, Army, Akron and Mercer. He played in the Touchstone Energy Bowl in December. According to MaxPreps stats, last season Sanders had 22 catches for 347 yards and 1 touchdown.
