USC basketball coach Frank Martin said at his weekly press conference Monday forward Justin Minaya is being evaluated for a thumb injury that could cause him to be sidelined for an undetermined amount of time. Minaya was injured during Saturday’s win over Missouri. He missed all but 5 games last season with knee surgery. This season Minaya is averaging 8 points and 6 rebounds per game.
