The official visit of Hammond School DE Jordan Burch at USC is officially on. Burch took to Snapchat Friday night with two posts, one a video confirming his presence on the USC campus. Burch played in a basketball game at Heathwood Hall earlier in the night and Lou Bezjak of The State reported seven Gamecock assistant coaches, and an array of players, were in the gym. LSU, the other contender for Burch, was not represented. Burch publicly committed to the Gamecocks December 18th but did not sign his letter-of-intent, later saying he wanted to sign with his teammates on February 5th. He took an unofficial visit with his mother to LSU last weekend, his third trip to Baton Rouge. He did not return until Monday and thus had the full attention of the LSU coaching staff after the other recruits left Sunday afternoon. Now, the USC staff gets the chance to reverse any gains made by LSU and hold on to the only 5-star recruit in their 2020 class. Burch and his teammates are scheduled to sign at 1:00 PM Wednesday.

USC offered 2023 DB Sharif Denson of Jacksonville. He also has offers from Florida, Kentucky, West Virginia, Iowa State and others.
USC target OL Dylan Fairchild of Cumming, GA was offered by Virginia and Auburn.
USC target QB Colten Gauthier of Dacula, GA was offered by Florida State.
USC target 2022 QB Gunner Stockton of Tiger, GA was offered by Ohio State.
USC and Clemson target CB Nyland Green of Covington, GA has picked up offers from Alabama, LSU, Nebraska and Florida State. He plans to visit USC Saturday. He was at Tennessee last weekend.
USC and Clemson target OL Amarius Mims of Cochran, GA will visit Auburn this weekend.
Clemson offered 4-star CB JK Johnson of St. Louis. The 247Sports composite has him the #5 corner in the country and the #1 player in Missouri. He has a national offer list that includes Notre Dame, Ohio State, Florida, Georgia, Arkansas, Michigan, Missouri, Iowa, Kentucky, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Virginia Tech.
Clemson target LB Barrett Carter of Suwanee, GA plans to visit Auburn Saturday.
Saluda WR Dallan Wright took a visit to Virginia Tech Friday. He said he’s deciding between the Hokies and Appalachian State with a decision on Wednesday.
