WR Tanner Koziol (6-6 200) of La Grange Park, IL made a trip down South last weekend and made stops to USC and Tennessee.
He has not picked up offers at this point but schools love his frame.
Koziol said he had great day with the Gamecocks and looks forward to seeing the relationship grow.
“The visit was amazing. The best facilities i’ve seen yet,” Koziol said. “Loved the vibe down there. It was my first time meeting the wide receivers coach. It was my first time meeting him so it was more of introducing, and he said he was happy I was down there. I will be at their camp this summer to try and get more exposure to all the coaches.”
Koziol visited Iowa for a game this season and he’s also drawn interest from Iowa State, Michigan and Michigan State. He also plans to visit Northern Iowa this weekend. The offers should start rolling in as coaches see him up close and realize 6-6 receivers don’t grow on trees.
“Coaches obviously like my size but it’s my ability to use it as an advantage, jump balls and such,” Koziol said. “But once i put on more weight, I want to become a more dominant in blocking.”
Koziol does not yet carry a ranking by 247Sports or Rivals.
