Clemson baseball coach Monte Lee Friday sent his team out to start their 5th pre-season practice under him, and he announced the Tigers will be without their leading returning hitter Michael Green who has been dismissed from the team for a violation of team rules. He batted .318 last season.

Lee also announced LHP Ryne Huggins will miss the season with an injury. He made 7 relief appearances last season. That news followed the announcement Thursday by LHP Jacob Hennessy that his career was over due to an arm injury suffered in the fall.
