QB Christian Veilleux of Ontario visited Clemson Monday. He also visited Tennessee and Duke while on the road and picked up an offer from the Blue Devils. Veilleux is a 4-star rated prospect by the 247Sports composite. USC offered Veilleux early when Dan Werner was on the staff, but the Gamecocks have not followed up with him. Indiana, Michigan, Penn State, Virginia Tech and Syracuse are among his other offers. Last season playing for the Bullis School in Potomac, MD, Veilleux passed for 1700 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Georgia offered Sumter DE Justus Boone, regarded as the state’s top prospect for the 2021 class. Boone visited USC last weekend and will visit North Carolina this weekend.
RB Jaylin White (6-0 185) of Dothan, AL said he plans to visit USC Saturday. He was at Tennessee last weekend. USC, Tennessee, Memphis and Mississippi State have offered.
South Aiken TE Jesse Sanders plans to visit USC February 1st. He has a PWO offer from USC. He is waiting until mid-February to see if he’s accepted by Clemson, if so he’ll get a PWO offer from the Tigers and then will make a decision. He’s getting interest from Louisiana-Lafayette and South Florida.
TE Jake Briningstool of Brentwood, TN plans to visit Clemson this weekend. He also visited Clemson last June and for a game early last season. The Tigers appear to be in strong shape with him. He also has offers from USC, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisville, Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, Florida State, Michigan State and many others. His father played at Michigan State. Briningstool is rated as a 4-star prospect in the 247Sports composite. Last season he had 49 catches for 863 yards and 9 touchdowns.
Dillon WR Ahmari Huggins-Bruce will visit Louisville this weekend. He was at Tennessee last weekend. He also picked up an offer from East Carolina.
Dutch Fork SS DiMarco Johnson committed to Akron.
USC offered 2023 DE Keldric Faulk of Highland Home, AL.
USC target OL Micah Morris of Kingsland, GA will visit Florida State this weekend. He was at USC last weekend.
NC State and East Carolina offered Chapin OL Thornton Gentry.
