There is truly nothing more to say about tomorrow night’s CFP National Championship Game. The two-week buildup of Tigers (Clemson) vis Tigers (LSU) is mercifully over with the two head coaches holding their final press conference Sunday morning at the Sheraton Hotel on Canal Street in downtown New Orleans. All that’s left now is to tee it up Monday night at the Superdome and see if top ranked and 5.5 point favorite LSU can live up to the expectations of the betting public, or if Clemson can truly establish itself as a dynasty with back to back titles and 30 straight victories.

A few key notes from the press conference

• Dabo Swinney said starting defensive tackle Nyles Pinckney, who has been dealing with an ankle injury, could play tomorrow night but will be limited if he’s able to do so.
• Ed Orgeron said his starting offensive guard Damien Lewis, who has had an ankle injury, is healthy and ready to go, as are WR Terrace Marshall and RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
• Shooting down conspiracy theorists, Swinney said it was his decision to keep Saturday’s practice on schedule and in the HIlton ballroom after storms prevented the Tigers from going to Tulane’s stadium. LSU practiced at the Saints’ indoor facility and Swinney said they had the option to go there as well
