USC coach Will Muschamp Wednesday signed 17 recruits on Wednesday, a group that included newly committed TE Jaheim Bell but did not include newly committed DE Jordan Burch. Of those 17, Muschamp said 10 will be mid-year enrollees. Muschamp said two of last seasons transfers will count on this class leaving him room to sign six more recruits in February.

Muschamp said he was not worried about any of his unsigned commitments not following thru. With Burch, the Gamecocks have six unsigned commitments. The other five had not planned to sign today. Burch has until Friday to sign to count among the early signees.
