The Clemson Tigers’ spot in the AP Poll and the Amway/USA Today Coaches Poll remained unchanged after a 52-3 victory over Wake Forest, Saturday. LSU retained the top spot in both polls and Ohio State also held its ranking at no. 2. Clemson has been ranked as high as no. 1 and has not dropped lower than no. 3 in this year’s polls.
The rankings the Tigers are most concerned with, the College Football Playoff Rankings, will be revealed Tuesday night. Clemson is off this week before making the short trip to Columbia on Nov. 30th to face the Gamecocks. It appears the Tigers need only to vanquish their rival and an ACC Coastal representative to cap this season with a fifth consecutive trip to the College Football Playoffs.
