USC’s   top QB target for 2021 Colten Gauthier of Dacula, GA planned to visit for the Appalachian State game but didn’t make it.  He is now planning a return visit for the Clemson game.  Clemson quarterbacks coach Brandon Streeter scouted his game Friday night.  As for where the Gamecocks, who have offered, stand with Gauthier, he said, “They are definitely up there. I want to make a decision hopefully sometime soon, this year hopefully.” Gauthier said he did not want to disclose a favorites list at this point. He also has been to Clemson and is waiting to see if the Tigers will offer.

Clemson target LB Justin Flowe of Upland, CA made his official visit to Miami over the weekend. He is scheduled to visit Clemson this weekend.

USC target LB Desmond Tisdol was offered by Arkansas.

Clemson and Michigan are now showing recruiting interest in Gray Collegiate QB Hunter Helms.  Clemson has offered him a preferred walk-on opportunity and that’s what he’s looking to do at this point, though Michigan wants him to visit.  He plans an official visit to Clemson in December.  Helms is a former Holy Cross commitment. 

2021 OL Drake Davis of Camden visited USC Saturday for the Appalachian State game.   

2022 QB Grantt Logan of Mooresboro, NC made his second visit of the season to USC Saturday night.

USC also offered 2021 DE Zyun Reeves (6-7 230) of Kernersville, NC.

USC offered 2022 ATH Jordan McDonald and 2022 TE Jack Nickel of Alpharetta, GA. of Alpharetta, GA.

2021 LB Chief Borders of Powder Springs, GA, who has an offer from USC, committed to Florida.

2021 PK Will Fowler of Spartanburg and 2023 QB Raheim Jeter of Byrnes visited Georgia Saturday night.

2021 DE Justus Boone of Sumter visited Florida Saturday.

WR Omarion Dollison of Gray Collegiate announced a decommitment from Old Dominion.

2022 6-8 Julian Phillips of Blythewood was offered by Virginia Tech.
