Amari Rodgers is healthy and contributing once again to the Clemson offense (Sideline Carolina/Travis Bell)

It wasn’t that long ago that Clemson-Louisville was one of the most anticipated matchups of the ACC season. The Cardinals under Bobby Petrino, and with Lamar Jackson at quarterback, were as dangerous as anyone in the country. The Tigers escaped with narrow wins the first three times they played the Cards, but the last two years have been blowouts, including 77-16 last season in Death Valley. In that one, Clemson rushed for 492 yards. The Cardinals are playing better football this season under first year coach Scott Satterfield but the oddsmakers still have Clemson favored by 24. The Tigers are coming off a blowout win over Florida State that extended their winning streak to 21 games.

Here’s what some of the players are saying this week heading into the UL game:

WR Amari Rodgers on why he plays well against Florida State

LB Jamie Skalski explains why the defense continues to play well
