Aamir Simms will be the front-man for Clemson this season

The media attending the ACC’s Operation Basketball 2019 earlier this week in Charlotte voted Duke as the overwhelming favorite to win the league’s championship this season. The Blue Devils received 51 of 111 votes cast. North Carolina finished second in the voting though #3 Louisville received 10 more first place votes, 29-19. Defending national champion Virginia was picked fourth and received the remaining 12 first place votes. The media picked Clemson to finish 11th and no Tigers were chosen for any of the pre-season honors.
