Trevor Lawrence in action against Texas A&M earlier this season (Travis Bell/SIDELINE CAROLINA)

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney is one of the most media-friendly coaches in college football. But even Swinney can only be pushed so far about inside information before he draws the line with the group that peppers him with questions on a regular basis. This week reports surfaced that Lawrence suffered a “bruised” shoulder in the Texas A&M game and later had an MRI. Following Wednesday’s practice, Swinney met with the media, which is his routine, and was asked about Lawrence and his shoulder.

  1. Yeah lady….don’t ask any osterine questions either. You know what, you media people from the upstate will do what this guy says to do. Oh, you’ll fall back on the fact that you asked the question once, but to dig to find the truth, is another matter. You media people are bought and paid for!! Fall in line and ask simple questions so goofy here, can answer the easy ones. Dablow doesn’t have the integrity that New Spring wants you to think he does. Hell, Clem-tech bough an upstate radio guy to soften his touch on things. Marc Ryan on 97.1 ESPN doesn’t DARE talk ill about clem-zun like he does other teams. This is the first I’ve heard about the breck girl’s shoulder. I’ll never hear anything from upstate reporters about it.
