USC brought in a large number of recruits for the Alabama game. Many of the Gamecocks’ commitments were in including QB Luke Doty and RB Marshawn Lloyd. Among the confirmed uncommitted visitors were DE Jordan Burch of Hammond, TE Jaheim Bell of Valdosta, GA, LB Len’Neth Whitehead of Athens, GA,  LB Desmond Tisdol of Rochelle, GA, 2021 OL Dylan Fairchild of Cumming, GA, 2021 ATH Kamarro Edmonds of Havelock, NC, 2021 ATH Adonis Davis of Blackville-Hilda, 2021 LB Dameon Wilson of Kings Mountain, NC, and 2023 QB Raheim Jeter of Greer.  CB Jahquez Robinson of Jacksonville, who had planned to visit, did not make it in. 

USC commitment TE Eric Shaw of Sylacauga, AL was at the Auburn game Saturday night.

2021 RB Will Shipley of Matthews, NC, a Clemson and USC target, went to Virginia Saturday for the Florida State game.

Byrnes SAF Buddy Mack committed to Charlotte. 

6-8 Ja’Von Benson of Ridge View took his official visit to USC over the weekend.  He has also taken an official visit to the College of Charleston and is also looking at Indiana State. 

2021 6-5 Bryce McGowens of Wren made it to USC Saturday for an unofficial visit. “One of the nicest campuses I have been to. The atmosphere of the game was great and I’m looking forward to going there again.” McGowens has offers from USC, Clemson, Providence, LSU, Nebraska, Penn State, Wake Forest, Florida, Iowa State, Virginia Tech, Xavier, Pitt and others. He also has visited Georgia, Wake Forest and Clemson in the last few months.
