Two seasons removed from a SAC championship, Newberry seeks to get back to its winning ways in 2019. The Wolves followed that title season with back-to-back 5-6 marks. Last year could have been much better for coach Todd Knight and the Wolves had they made some big plays in close games. Three of their loses came by less than a touchdown and no loss was by more than 14 points. The Wolves open their season Thursday night at North Greenville.
