Trevor Lawrence and Clemson remain atop the college football polls (Travis Bell/SIDELINE CAROLINA)

Clemson’s convincing 52-14 win over Georgia Tech last week further cemented in the minds of the voters for the two national polls their place atop the rankings for another week. Of the combined 126 voters in the AP and coaches poll, all but 14 voted Clemson #1. Those 14 placed their trust in Alabama. The polls are identical thru the top 9 spots with Georgia, Oklahoma, Ohio State, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame and Texas following the top two. The AP ranked Auburn 10th while the coaches voted Florida there.
