Clay Hendrix goes into year three at his alma mater of Furman with high expectations. His first season ended with a playoff spot, and year two ended on a four game winning streak. This year he’s hoping not just for a return to postseason play, but for an extended run. The Paladins return 17 starters including 8 on offense. Redshirt freshman Darren Grainger of Conway is expected to be the starting quarterback though the competition in camp has been tight.
