
There’s no battle for the starting quarterback job at USC this month. Jake Bentley is clearly #1 going into his senior season and he’s poised to break numerous school passing records. The backup job, however, remains up for grabs a week into camp with Dakereon Joyner and Ryan Hilinski battling for the role. Following Friday’s practice, quarterbacks coach Dan Werner along with Bentley and Joyner met with the media. Also, talking, new tight end Nick Muse, the transfer from William and Mary who is still waiting on word from the NCAA about his appeal for immediate eligibility.
