The already crowded running backs room at USC added another warm body last week with the arrival of Clemson graduate transfer Tavien Feaster. The former prep All American from Spartanburg brings a load of expectations with him for his one season in Columbia. Will he be the true dominant back the Gamecocks have been seeking? He may be, but first he will have to prove to running backs coach Thomas Brown he’s better than returning vets Rico Dowdle, Mon Denson, AJ Turner, Deshaun Fenwick and freshman Kevin Harris. Brown talked about Feaster and the running back competition Wednesday during his fall camp meeting with the media.
