South Carolina head football coach Will Muschamp addressed the media after practice Tuesday and for the first time he was able to answer questions about Clemson grad transfer running back Tavien Feaster who joined the team for his first practice Saturday. Feaster joins a roster that averaged 4.47 yards/carry last season and rushed for 1,986 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Rico Dowdle led the Gamecocks with 654 yards on 5.3 yards/carry. Fellow senior AJ Turner led the team with 6.4 yards/carry and totaled 294 yards last season. Another running back, Lavonte Valentine, entered the Transfer Portal on Tuesday.

Muschamp also addressed a recent injury to JUCO transfer defensive end Devontae Davis.
