The Georgia Bulldogs in 2019 again will be considered as contenders for SEC and national honors. Kirby Smart led the Dogs to the national championship game in 2017 and just missed out on the playoffs last season after losing to Alabama 35-28 in the SEC title game. The Bulldogs were 11-3 last season and 7-1 in the SEC, that lone defeat a 20 point loss at LSU. The Dogs came to Columbia last season and spanked USC 41-17 and will host the Gamecocks October 12th. They open the season at Vanderbilt August 31st.
