2021 DL Payton Page (6-4 295) of Greensboro, NC picked up an offer from the Tigers earlier this week after a visit with the Tigers. “To be honest, I really like how they treat me like family and how they treat my family like family. That’s why it’s such a comfortable place to be,” Page said. He added the Tigers like him as a three-technique, “Cause I’m big and I can get off the ball.” USC, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina and Oklahoma are among his offers. He has not yet nailed down a top five.
CB Dominick Hill of Orlando, who took an official to USC last weekend, said USC is still out front and the coaches know how he feels towards the program. He has a funeral Saturday and might take an unofficial to Miami later in the weekend. He still plans to take an official visit to Missouri next weekend.
Clemson target WR EJ Williams of Phenix City, AL will take an official visit to LSU this weekend. He was at Auburn unofficially last weekend. He will be at Clemson for camp Tuesday. He also has Florida, Tennessee, Alabama and Oklahoma on his short list.
USC offered CB Joey Hunter (6-1 180) of Tyrone, GA. Some other offers are Mississippi State, Boston College, Vanderbilt, Houston and Indiana. He was at the USC camp Thursday.
USC offered 2021 DB Kevin Knowles of Hollywood, FL during a camp visit Thursday. He also picked up a Clemson offer in camp Wednesday.
DE Jacolbe Cowan of Charlotte will take an unofficial visit to USC Friday.
Three uncommitted prospects are scheduled for official visits to USC this weekend…WR Jaheim Bell of Valdosta, GA, currently committed to Florida; DE Reggie Grimes of Brentwood, TN; OL Vershon Lee of Woodbridge, VA; and CB Tyrus Wheat of Copiah-Lincoln JC, MS.
USC target 6-7 Matt Cross was offered by Virginia Tech. He took an official visit to Indiana last week and will visit USC this weekend. Also taking an official visit to USC this weekend will be 6-6 Earl Timberlake of Washington, DC.
2021 OL Jager Burton (6-3 271) of Lexington, KY was offered by Clemson. Ohio State, Duke and Kentucky are some other offers.
USC target WR Deajaun McDougle of Deerfield Beach, FL was offered by Kansas.
TE Jesse Sanders of South Aiken camped at USC today and hopes to hear something soon related to an offer. He said he weighed in at 239 pounds.
Byrnes RB Rahjai Harris was offered by Miami of Ohio.
Byrnes OL Chuck Strickland received a preferred walk-on offer from USC.
OL James Reedy of Cardinal Newman received a preferred walk-on offer from USC.
