Former USC commitment OL Javion Cohen of Phenix City, AL announced a commitment to Auburn Saturday while on an official visit. Cohen committed to the Gamecocks March 27th and decommitted April 15th. He took an official visit to USC April 27th.

LB Bryson Eason of Memphis, who was offered by USC and at one time had planned for an official visit, does not have USC in his final eight of Arkansas, Ole Miss, Memphis, LSU, Florida, Oregon, Mississippi State and Tennessee.

Miami commitment DE Tre’von Riggins of St. Petersburg, who will visit USC unofficially June 7th, said his interest level in USC is a “strong” 8 on a 10 scale. He also will be visiting Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee and Florida State on his trip.

Clemson offered 2021 SAF Kamren Kinchens of Miami and 2021 SAF James Williams of Opa Locka, FL. Williams was in for a visit earlier this week.

According to his coach, LB Desmond Tisdol of Rochelle, GA made a good showing at Georgia Thursday but was told by Kirby Smart he’s taking just one LB. Coach said he ran a 4.7 and stumbled out of the block. He’ll visit Auburn Saturday and USC next Saturday.

USC target SAF Keshawn Lawrence of Nashville was at Ole Miss Friday.

USC offered 2022 ATH Travis Hunter of Suwanee, GA.

One time Clemson target WR Julian Fleming of Catawissa, PA committed to Ohio State Friday.

OF James Nix of the College of Central Florida committed to USC Friday. This season he batted .462 with 9 homers and 48 RBIs. He also stole 24 bases. He was named the player of the year in his league.

Wofford basketball announced the signing of 6-4 Zion Richardson of Plano, TX and 6-4 Morgan Safford of Columbus, OH.

Upstate announced the signings of 6-2 Tommy Bruner of Gray Collegiate, 6-0 Cartier Jernigan of Charlotte and 6-8 Jatayveous Watson of Newnan, GA.

According to Jon Rothstein of CBSSports.com, Clemson, Houston and Oregon are three possible destinations former Alabama grad transfer and Columbia native Tevin Mack.
