DE Myles Murphy of Greensboro, NC said Tuesday night USC is his leader going into his official visit this weekend. His parents will join him on the visit. He did not rule out the possibility of a commitment. He has been planning to take other official visits with Alabama, North Carolina, LSU and Florida.

USC made the top five with RB Elijah Young of Knoxville. The others are Tennessee, Mississippi State, Missouri and Kentucky.

RB Sam Adams of Sammamish, WA named a top six of Washington, Alabama, Florida, Ohio State, Penn State and Texas A&M. He also had a USC offer.

According to TheBigSpur, Hammond DE Jordan Burch is scheduled to take his official visit to USC this weekend.

Dutch Fork CB Tyrik McDaniel was offered by Akron.

USC 2021 commitment ATH Lovasea Carroll plans to visit Auburn Friday.

USC offered 2021 OL Javonte Gardner (6-5 290) of Orlando.

Deep snapper Max Durschlag of Appalachian State plans to transfer to USC.

6-7 Matt Cross of Beverly, MA said he will take an official visit to USC June 6-7.

Former Hammond and North Carolina guard Seventh Woods told The State Tuesday he’s considering USC, Gonzaga and Michigan for his next stop. The Gamecocks currently do not have a scholarship to give so Woods would have to walk-on. He is not a grad transfer to he will have to sit out next next season under NCAA transfer rules.
